Goodbye Austin, hello Conroe !

Have I mentioned that Texas is BIG? This morning though, it is all happening right here, inside the Kozy Kamper with Kitty.

Kitty, Krashed. In our kozy bed.

O NO! There’s A BEE in the camper!

At least they always go to the windows.
His little buddy bee wants in too.
Solo cup rescue initiated. It’s more fun when the cup is clear and you can see the bee inside.

Time to get out of here so they don’t start a nest in the locker. And yes I let the little feller go free💓🐝🐝🐝

Fuel first.
Aaaahhhhh! Beeezzzz at the gas station!
A stop at the Wal- Mart in Elgin for drinking water.

There’s a big banner over the road announcing a rodeo tonight. Too bad I’ll be gone…

All Sherriffs and lawyers in Tx wear cowboy hats. Because- you know- Texas.
Crossing a teeny tip of Lake Conroe.
Lake Conroe was man- made about 1973, with a dam and water diverted from the San Jacinto River.

It is a secondary water supply for the Houston Metro area.

This park is nice and quiet, but a little too remote for my preference. Gonna leave the outdoor light on tonight .

One of the smallest, most residential parks I’ve been in. Still feel pretty safe, but I did lock my locker for the overnight.
